Analysing fronstide 540's.
Focusing on takeoff.
1. Look at position of body taking off on the lip. Chris is stacked hips over center of the board (slightly set back, but notice how he recenters after he pops). Sean your hips are 'in the back seat' and stay in the back seat.
2. Look at the position of the board. Because you were set in the back on take off, and weren't able to recenter yourself, your spin has gone off axis.
3. You spot the landing really well with your head which helps your spin stay together.
For future focus on taking off with your hips aligned over the center of the board. This will help you to keep your board flat and 'on axis' giving you a more compact and effortless rotation.
