Craigleith's coach- Steve Simpson.
Backside 360, he stalls out halfway through when he grabs... let's find out why.
1. He sets an edge on take off called "building a platform".
2. pops off lip with both feet.
3. brings knees and board up to his chest. This compacts his body, and tightens the rotation.
4. *stalls his rotation* - why? - because his free arm is rotating in the opposite direction of his rotation. His shoulders start to rotate in the opposite direction of his spin.
Look at this frame by frame, if his head were leading the spin the whole time he would not have stalled out and his shoulders would be leading the rotation.
5. spots for the landing, opens up, and is able to twist his legs into position to land.
